The Carolyn VanHorne Civic Award recipient for 2022 is Tammy Musil. The award winner is chosen from nominations received by the Pawnee City Chamber of Commerce. Tammy was presented her award after services at Zion Lutheran church by Gail Howard, Chamber of Commerce Secretary.

 

The April Chamber of Commerce Business of the month is Elaine's Hair Studio.

The Chamber of Commerce Scholarship for 2023  has been awarded to Madison Lytle. She was chosen from 8 applicants for her essay, "A Look Into My Future and How It May Impact The World".

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. You may notice blue pinwheels around town, as well as posters on this subject.These have been distributed by SENCA CASA employees. Sunday, April 30thhas been designated Wear Blue Day, to help bring awareness to this important issue.

Chamber meetings are held on the first Thursday of every month at the Pawne City Library at noon.
